Winter Bird Feeding Essentials

During the winter months its best to offer birds high fat and high calorie diets. At Top Crop we have stock in all the essentials you will need. The following are some of our top suggestions.

What to feed

Mealworms: Excellent for protein, especially for birds like bluebirds and robins..

Black oil sunflower seeds: A top choice for many species due to their high oil content.

Suet: Especially good for woodpeckers, chickadees, and nuthatches; can be bought as cakes or made at home.

Peanuts: A great source of fat and protein.
